This month we have our regular features of what I've been up to recently and the quote of the month. The main article is a step by step guide to creating a presentation using iMindMap software - Click here to read it. We also have news of the UK Open Memory Championships and a fantastic way for you to see some great presentations at a bargain price.
What's Phil Up To?
I am busy organising the UK Open Memory Championships that takes place at Simpsons-in-the-Strand, London on 15-16 August. We have over 20 entrants, representing 11 countries, in 10 languages. Details here.
I am Batty – Let me explain. I discovered this month that my house in Rural Shropshire is home to a colony of bats. We have at least 60 bats living in the space between the slates and the insulation. I am delighted that the bats are happy breading in the building. They are fascinating to watch emerging in the early evening.
NEWS OF A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY
If you can get to London on Saturday 15th of August you could be in for a real treat.
From 12:30pm – 4:30pm at The Strand The Strand Palace Hotel Conference Centre, 372 Strand, London, WC2R 0JJ there will be presentations from three fantastic speakers.
Tony Buzan (international multi-million selling author on Learning and the Brain),
Dominic O’Brien (8 times World Memory Champion)
Chris Griffiths (highly successful entrepreneur and the brain behind the iMindMap Software).
Spaces are limited with an audience of no more than 20. The entry fee is a mere £80 for all three speakers. You could easily pay 10 times this to listen to any one of these speakers especially in a small group.
What’s the catch? All three speakers are giving their time free of charge to support The UK Open Memory Championships running in parallel so have made this opportunity available to encourage spectators and publicity. There really isn’t a catch. The end result is that you get a bargain.
DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY. To pre-book click here.
