What's Phil Up To?

After coordinating the arbiting team at the UK Open, I took a week off to visit the Paralympics in London and see the sights including the ‘Orbit’, the new cable car across the Thames by the North Greenwich Arena, Tate Modern gallery and the ‘Animals Inside Out’ exhibition at the Natural History Museum.

I will be giving a Mind Mapping presentation to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants later this month and judging a Primary School Mind Mapping competition.

I will also be off to Sweden to assist at the Swedish Open Memory Championships.

News from the UK Open Memory Championsips.

Many congratulations to Katie Kermode who became UK Memory Champion at the London Science Museum on 24th August. Former 8 times World Memory Champion, Dominic O’Brien took the silver medal and Boris Konrad from Germany, with the highest overall score, won Best International Competitor. That’s it for this month. I’ll be back in touch with the next newsletter in October.
